This training course was held for the experts of Lordegan Urea Fertilizer Company in Isfahan from September 8th to 10th, 2024.
In the filtration fundamentals course, scientific references in the field of filtration, an introduction to filters used in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, the basics of filter design for various fluids (air, gas, petroleum products), an introduction to filter test standards in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, and an overview of filter media were taught by Mr. Forouzan and Mr. Bahmani.
Additionally, filters used in HVAC systems, turbine air filters, testing standards for turbine air filters, and EN-779-2012 standard were examined and explained in the air filtration course by Mr. Saadatpour.
In the gas filtration course presented by Mr. Rasooli, filters used in gas transmission systems, gas distribution networks, and gas refineries were explained, along with an introduction to test standards for filters used in natural gas and a detailed explanation of national and international standards such as IGS-M-PM-111.
In the liquid filtration course, after an introduction to the principles and mechanisms of liquid filters, filtration in hydraulic systems, an overview of hydraulic filters used in petrochemical industries, filtration systems in water treatment, and an introduction to the requirements and test standards for hydraulic filters were explained, including a detailed explanation of the five key standards for hydraulic oil filters (ISO-2941, ISO-2942, ISO-2943, ISO-16889, ISO-3968) by Ms. Khalili.
It should be noted that at the end of all the courses, participants visited the filtration laboratory at Isfahan Science and Technology Town and became familiar with each of the tests in practice.
At the end of the training, certificates of attendance were issued to the participants by Iran Filtek in collaboration with Isfahan Science and Technology Town.
